During Childhood of Naruto, he is naughty and unrespectful because he wants others to talk to him, and make friends with him.
He always do something bad, like drawing on the wall of ancestors(leader of the villages before)
Despite the fact that Naruto was naughty all the times during his childhood, when he joined the Seventh class, he claimed that he wanted to be the leader of his villages. And he was optimism about it all the times even after something worsely happened.
